Hi my name is Robert Easthope, I am a system administrator in Cambridge, UK.  Have previously setup IPv6 on webservers for JANET(UK) and experimenting again with v6 gateways ans applications again.

I've found the sixxs.net to be very flexible, particularly with the heartbeat/aiccu tunnels.  Very stable, and fast pipes.  Also get the upgrade to /48 subnet, giving you alot of flexibility with handing out the /64's.  Trying to have different subnets for different entry points to the network now.  (VPN on different subnet to local LAN, and potentially an ipv6 tunnel in on a different subnet again to test ipsec etc). 

 

Due to ISP issues, I cannot use the HE tunnel, so have to resort to other means, and I've found sixxs very stable.  I was running both freenet6 and sixxs at the same time at one point, but freenet6's PoPs became unstable an unreliable a little too frequently, meaning that I had to change PoP and change my subnet at the same time.

Indeed, I have for some time been using an HE static tunnel for my home network and gogoc on my laptop when away from home.  Works very well.

The HE broker at http://tunnelbroker.net is very good, and has UK PoP(s).   Allows changing your IPv4 endpoint easily.

anyone having issues with reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl? I have a feeling they
are blocking the amsterdam server and all the other servers are crap.

I'm with VM too. VM are not bothered what connections you have and yes they can see your traffic if they wanted too.

They are on your back because you are breaching the Acceptable Usage Policy by downloading far too much. They have the rights to disconnect your line if you don't calm it down in peak hours.

My isp (vm) has warned me about the amount of data that i use, when i use ipv6 can they tell when im tunneling and how much data im using through the modem or is it hidden .sorry if this is a daft question.csalvage
